INCREDIBLE RACING AND A BRILLIANT ATMOSPHERE: BRITISH GRAND PRIX
Another home BritishGP done…and what a weekend it was.
Nearly 12 months after our last home round, and first restriction-free trip to
Silverstone since COVID-19, it was fantastic to be able to freely catch up with Riders, Teams and Fans alike!
We were treated to some unbelievable weather, incredible racing and a brilliant atmosphere – we couldn’t have asked for more!
Our home round has also given us a unique opportunity to conduct some on track Research and Development. With all-new 'Special' Race level parts to be added to our stock range soon!
Moto3: MASIA TAKES SECOND WITH THRILLING FIGHTBACK AT SILVERSTONE
Jaume Masia of Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3 enjoyed a great performance that took him from 21st on the grid to second place, earning him a fifth podium of 2022.
Starting from the seventh row of the grid, a speedy move propelled him into eighth after just five laps.
His rise through the order took him into third place, and he battled for the podium until a mistake dropped him to ninth.
Unfazed, the Red Bull KTM Ajo talent recovered, took the lead on the final lap, and tussled for the win before finishing second.

Moto2: THREE WINS IN A ROW AND LEADERSHIP FOR FERNANDEZ AT BRITISH GP
Augusto Fernandez started from pole and gave his all to take his fourth victory of the year, becoming the new Moto2 World Championship leader in the process.
Starting the British GP at the front after a fantastic pole position on Saturday. Fernandez dropped to fourth on the opening laps, although he maintained a high pace to remain in the front group.
The Spaniard managed a difficult race well, coping with constant changes of pace to climb up the order in the final stretch. After an intense fight, Fernandez took his third consecutive victory this season and the leadership of the Moto2 World Championship.
A mention also has to go out to home hero Jake Dixon, who also secured a hard-fought podium, his third in the class!

With VIP Hospitality, Pitbox tours, and Meeting riders, it definitley was a weekend to remember!
We were also pleased to host young up-and-coming British rider Eddie O’Shea and 2 of his guests. Currently competing in the FIM Junior GP World Championship with Junior Talent Team, and The Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, we would like to wish him all the best for the rest of the season and will be cheering him on!

The Red Bull Ring – Spielberg circuit will host the next event on the calendar, with the Austrian Grand Prix, from August 14-18th where we're looking forward to hopefully seeing Pedro Acosta and Sam Lowes back in action!
